I have a 5510 on order, but am thinking about changing it to a 7510, both spec'ed with Xeon processors. The difference in price isn't a big factor (nice dell sales rep, nice discount.) Form factor and weight isn't a major consideration. More battery life would be nice. The main graphics requirement I have is for use with Adobe Lightroom, other than that it's a development machine. Hey guys, so I've been breaking my head for a couple of months on which new laptop to buy. I need it primarily for work in architecture, so running CAD programs, rendering and some photoshop. My priorities are a good display (color gamut), easy transport since I'll be moving a lot, and hopefully decent performance.
